If that doesn't solve it, we're out of luck. We've tried to troubleshoot these issues but in all such cases, we never even saw any incoming connection. Since we get hundreds of connections every day, this indicates things are working on our end. These kind of errors have to do with very specific configurations: What ports the game is using, what ports are open in your computer, how the DNS server is working, what your computer uses to fetch DNS servers. Firewalls and anti-virus can block outgoing connections, virtual/private IPs from your ISP can be an issue, and your ISP can even ban you from connecting to certain places for arbitrary reasons.
Crash just after joining a server[ | ]
Make sure sound is working on your computer at all. The game can crash if unable to play sound, e.g. footsteps.
Verify integrity of game files in Steam (some texture or sound is likely missing).
Did you change any settings in the game recently? Try changing them back.
Re-install the game. Manually delete the folder C:/Users/YourName/Documents/Spellwake before installing again.

Random crash[ | ]
Restart the game. If you know what was happening just before the game crash, please report it on discord so the developers can try to reproduce it and solve it. If you can send EngineLog.txt to developers via discord before restarting the game, that would be great. Do you have enough mana to activate the skill? Otherwise, spend more points in intelligence.

Game won't start[ | ]
Restart computer, deactivate anti-virus and then start the game. This will tell whether your anti-virus is the problem. This can especially happen after a recent update of Spellwake because the anti-virus company needs to analyze the new exe file.
Re-install the game.
Manually delete the folder C:/Users/YourName/Documents/Spellwake before installing again.
Try running the exe file manually (not from steam). It is in C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Spellwake/Spellwake/Code/Current/Release/Spellwake.exe
